Apparently, Meghan Markle is Following This Routine to Get Back in Shape After Giving Birth

Some moms make sure to get back in shape as soon and as safely as possible after giving birth, while others simply enjoy their post-partum bodies, allowing them time to recover from the birth and gradually fall back into their natural shape.

As for Meghan Markle, she is fitting into the role of motherhood quite nicely. Since she gave birth to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6, we’ve only seen her a few times, probably because she was giving her utmost attention to her and Prince Harry’s bundle of joy.

It has been almost two months since Meghan gave birth to little Archie, but knowing how active the former “Suits” actress is, it is worth asking if she’s following a specific post-baby fitness routine.

Meghan is a huge fan of exercising and all things wellness

Not in a Rush

One of the most popular moms of today, Meghan is in a comfortable place in her post-partum journey after giving birth to her first son. The Duchess is in no hurry to shed off her baby weight, but at the same time, she is practicing mindfulness in her diet and lifestyle.

Markle looked radiant and happy as ever during the Trooping the Colour, which was her first outing since giving birth to baby Archie, although we couldn’t help but feel the absence of the newborn, it’s understandable that the 1-month-old was too young to attend the gathering.

It turns out that the Duchess is well adjusting to being a first-time mom by embracing a very relaxed, easy-to-follow workout routine, hinting that she’s in no rush to getting back her pre-pregnancy body.

Yoga and Walks

Yoga instructor Doria Ragland, Meghan Markle’s mom, learned post-partum and baby yoga for her daughter

According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, the Duchess of Sussex hasn’t started doing anything strenuous yet but instead, she prefers doing yoga and other low-impact exercises.

Apparently, it is Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, who has been helping the Duchess ease into her exercise routine with specific post-partum yoga movements.

What makes the 37-year-old even more admirable is her decision to be gentle with herself by just walking around the Windsor Great Park, showing just how much she is enjoying being active.

That said, there are no weights or training involved in Meghan’s current gentle and holistic approach to fitness. Instead of spending time at the gym, she has been making sure she’s active around the house while giving Archie most of her attention.

With this, she has yet again won the hearts of the moms all over the world by showing that mothers can follow this approach too, instead of adhering to the pressures imposed by the society.

Comparison

Surely, being a member of one of the most influential clans of the world means there are unwritten and unspoken expectations of her. That’s why Meghan is making headlines every now and then for breaking traditions and also setting a good example for the rest.

For example, a few days after she gave birth, the Duchess, along with the 34-year-old husband, introduced her child to the world wearing a dress that accentuated her post-partum bump.

Some slammed Kate Middleton for appearing polished and picture-perfect when she introduced her babies to the world at the steps of Lindo Wing

For this, the Duchess of Sussex was lauded since she did not try to hide her belly despite being under intense media scrutiny.

She was also heavily compared to the Duchess of Cambridge, who had followed the tradition of debuting newborns on the step of the Lindo Wing with journalists and photographers snapping pictures of the beaming couple.

She was met with criticisms previously for painting an image of an unrealistic, polished mother despite just giving birth.
