The Shocking Reason Why Jennifer Lopez Hasn’t Started Making Wedding Plans Yet

Despite Jennifer Lopez’s initial hesitation to falling in love again after three failed marriages, the renowned singer shocked the world when she broke the news of her engagement to Alex Rodriguez last month. And in all fairness, she was just as shocked when A-Rod got down on his knee for the big proposal.

The proposal stirred up a storm of speculations in the tabloids about J-Lo’s love life and whether she’d finally be able to make this marriage work.

Fans, on the other hand, were buzzing with questions about her upcoming nuptials and what kind of preparations the couple is making for their big day.

Despite the new pressure the couple face as they enter this new chapter in their lives, JLo reveals that she’s not in a hurry to plan their wedding yet –  and she has some really good reasons for it too.

The Reason

During an interview for a radio station, one listener who’s also an avid fan of Jennifer Lopez called in and inquired about her plans regarding her impending nuptials to the baseball star.

The renowned singer simply answered her fan’s’ question by saying that they were in no hurry to plan their wedding since they only just got engaged.

Lopez revealed they’re still basking in the moment of their engagement, so they wish to relish every moment together before planning for their wedding.

According to the renowned actress, she and Rodriguez wanted to spend more time being engaged to each other before they plan their marriage.

Both Jennifer and A-Rod are currently immersed in their work commitments and hectic schedules, so planning a wedding is the last thing on their agenda at the moment.

Lopez also reveals how they both were going to be working for the rest of the year, so at least the fans can rest assured that there won’t be a surprise wedding from the couple in 2019.

The Talk

Lopez added that she and Rodriguez have had several hilarious conversations on the subject of marriage ever since they got engaged. They keep asking each other when they should actually tie the knot but the conversation always ends in laughter as neither of them can come up with a reasonable answer.

The couple doesn’t know when they will have spare time to prepare for a wedding so taking things slow is the way to go for them, especially since neither one of them wants to rush things and end up making a wrong decision.

Working Commitments

As of this writing, the 90s’ highest-paid Latina actress still has a hectic schedule, back to back tours and work engagements. Lopez has an upcoming concert tour in celebration of her 50th birthday in addition to a busy filming schedule for her highly-anticipated movie, Hustlers.

Lopez plays the role of a stripper who works with her fellow workers to get thousands of dollars from her high profile clients on Wall Street.

Aside from that, J Lo’s biggest project is World of Dance where she is not only one of the executive producers, but also one of the show’s judges.

Despite the hectic schedules on both sides, though, they always make sure to find time for their extended family.
