Fighting Tips

According to a Los Angeles clinical psychologist and sleep expert Michael J. Breus, there are so many celebrities who are actually suffering from insomnia. Some of them are Jimmy Kimmel, Christina Applegate, Rosie O’Donnell and more. One of the major reasons why a lot of celebrities suffer from insomnia is because of their schedule at work.

Unlike ordinary people who have ordinary jobs, celebrities don’t wake up around 6 or 7 am to get ready for work and then come home around 5 or 6 pm and call it a night around 9. Celebrities often have to work at 2 am and it is not even a regular schedule, which makes it so difficult for them to have a decent sleeping pattern. Which is why he has come up with five major rules to fight insomnia for his celebrity clients.

The first one is to try to stay consistent, if they can sleep at the same hour at least 3-4 days a week then that is good enough. Second would be to consume less caffeine and that includes carbonated drinks and coffee of course. Next would be finding time to work out before bedtime because a tired body would want to take a rest soon after a nice warm shower.

Fourth would be the fact that they must avoid taking little naps, having no sleep is said to be better than sleeping for just a couple of minutes because it would ruin the sleeping pattern even more. Finally, one way to fight insomnia is to basically have a morning routine. No matter what your schedule may be, having a routine in the morning is always ideal and it must involve healthy snacks and breakfast, as well as having to drink enough water for the body to stay hydrated.
