[su_quote class=”cust-pagination”]“How would your life be different if…You were conscious about the food you ate, the people you surround yourself with, and the media you watch, listen to, or read? Let today be the day…You pay attention to what you feed your mind, your body, and your life. Create a nourishing environment conducive to your growth and well-being today.”

Why do we eat?
We all eat to live and honor the earthly requirements of the body. We indulge in this activity either by trial and error or by following a specific dieting plan. It is all about caring for ourselves in a manner that can promote proper balance.
We are well aware that some foods are not good for us either in the short-term or the long-term. However, on occasions, we conveniently decide to forget these matters. This is a dangerous game because the food serves as a defense mechanism against feeling our feelings. It gives us a sense of being okay, particularly when we begin to eat regardless of the reasons. You may not realize the fact, but it is one of the most destructive ways to sabotage your overall health and well-being. You are only hurting yourself by indulging in such behavior because what you consume affects your feelings, thinking, and beliefs.
What are the foods for the mind and the body?
The food you eat is for the body, but it can leave you with worries, stress, low self-esteem, and trauma. It can have an untold effect on your mental energy and leave you with an emotional problem.
We are the products of what we think. The human brain generates about 70,000 thoughts every day, which translates to approximately 3300 thoughts every hour. The most important thoughts remain foremost in your minds, and undoubtedly, you have to choose these from the numerous thoughts.
You have the choice to allow any thoughts to occupy the space in your mind and our consciousness. As such, you should not allow negative thoughts to occupy your mind as they can have negative consequences on your body. If you are feeding the body to take care of it, do the same to your mind with positive thoughts. This will ensure that you are significantly caring for the mind and the body by providing the nutrition they need.
[su_quote class=”cust-pagination”]”To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one’s family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one’s own mind. If a man can control his mind, he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.” — Buddha [/su_quote]
You do not have to spend huge sums of money to nourish your mind and body. There is plenty of free information on the Internet on how you can do it. Furthermore, you have to understand that food is the only available choice.
