Kim Kardashian launched KKW Beauty in 2017 while Kylie Jenner founded Kylie Cosmetics in 2015, both reaching some serious heights of success in their individual business ventures.

As the two Kardashians made phenomenal success in the beauty industry, another member of the prominent Kar-Jenner clan plans to launch her cosmetic line. Let us uncover Kendall’s plans and how she’ll make her name in the cosmetics industry.

The Filing

Now, sister Kendall wants a stake in the growing beauty industry. On  May 2, Kendall Jenner shocked the world when she filed a trademark patent for her names “Kendall,” and “Kendall Jenner” at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Both trademarks were registered under the beauty spectrum which includes the production and distribution of bath and shower gels, beauty masks, body creams, deodorant, Eau de parfum, hair care preparations, and nail care products.

Before filing the trademark patent, Kendall Jenner already launched an oral-care brand named Moon.

Considering the nature of the application, the fans suspected Kendall Jenner is going to launch her own cosmetics line soon. It also marks her first formal entry in the beauty industry. The closest brand she launched before was Moon, an oral-care brand she co-created. She also promotes the brand on her Instagram account actively.

Other Business Ventures

Aside from Moon, Kendall had been the face of Esteé Edit, a millennial beauty line of Esteé Lauder before it became defunct sometime in 2017. She’s currently the spokesperson for Proactiv.

She also owns a women’s fashion brand alongside her sister Kylie. Their retail stores are located in Macy’s Nordstrom and Pac Sun. They also have an online website portal to cater to overseas orders.

The Big Leap

According to experts, Kendall’s patent filing was a huge step not only in entering the beauty industry but also in venturing as a solo businesswoman. As Kendall makes her cosmetic brands and line, the experts anticipate the Kardashian-Jenner clan will become formidable forces in the cosmetics industry.

According to sources, Kylie Cosmetics is now worth a staggering $900 million. Meanwhile, KKW’s Beauty is worth $100 million as of July 2018. Kim Kardashian says they expect her company to generate more sales this year, now that she’s adding more products to her line.

The Anticipation

The fans were indeed delighted to hear about Kendall’s newest business ventures, and they can’t help to buy and try her products in the future.

They’re also wondering what will make Kendall’s products different and more innovative compared to her sister’s existing business. Most of all, they wish her brand will be available and more affordable to the public. Will you buy beauty products from Kendall Jenner’s new company?
