Your doctor will examine you and determine whether the weight loss as a result of a condition related to the thyroid gland.

Bloating 

Many women suffer from the problem of bloating during their monthly cycle and consider it as a normal condition. However, if the bloating is persistent and lasts for several weeks, it should not be ignored; consult a doctor. Bloating, abdominal and pelvic pain, digestive issues, an urgency to urinate and feeling full despite not having a heavy meal could be signs of ovarian cancer. Your doctor may recommend a CT scan or conduct blood tests when performing the diagnosis.

Changes In the Breasts

Women should conduct self-exams of their breasts and check for lumps. Moreover, they should look for other changes. Women may notice lumps during their monthly cycle, which go away. Others experience symptoms that could be indicative of inflammatory breast cancer. These include redness and thickening of the skin on the breasts. Lumps that do not go away for more than a month or that are enlarging should be examined without delay. They may also feel rashes that persist for weeks, changes in the nipples, and a discharge—even when they are not breastfeeding. These changes should be reported to an appropriate doctor to conduct tests such as a mammogram, MRI, or a biopsy.

Bleeding during the normal periods is a common phenomenon with women. However, bleeding in-between periods should be evaluated by a doctor. If you suffer from bleeding after menopause, consider visiting a doctor for evaluation. Spotting between periods is often an early sign and a symptom of endometrial cancer.

Women also tend to ignore bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract, which looks similar to menstrual bleeding—it could be a symptom of colorectal cancer. If you notice any of this, consult a doctor for evaluation on whether you have endometrial or colorectal cancer.

Skin Cancer

One of the most common forms of cancer in the United States is skin cancer. Moles that are irregular in shape and color or asymmetrical are signs that are associated with skin cancer. Other symptoms include skin pigmentation, bleeding, or excessive scaling. If you notice these signs, do not hesitate to consult a doctor. Melanoma, a type of skin cancer, can be aggressive and needs to be treated as early as possible.
