Ciara’s Workout Regimen Is Totally Insane And It Helped Her Shed 50 Lbs.
While working out occasionally made some changes to Ciara’s body, she reveals that she wasn’t committed to applying it to her routine until she changed her approach to exercising and fitness. The moment she did this, she realized how her life and health started to change for the better, and so far, it has helped her shed 50 pounds of her post-pregnancy weight! Let’s uncover Ciara’s newfound fitness secret that she follows to stay healthy and fit all year round.
The famous singer admits that for the past few years she has only exercised whenever she wanted to look good for an event or occasion. For example, she would only hit the gym if she had an upcoming photo shoot or tone her legs if she was preparing for a performance. She never really committed to working out as part of her routine. Furthermore, she felt she wasn’t too happy with her exercise regimen. Not only were her workouts too intense but they also left her exhausted and out of energy.
Ciara revealed she started exercising consistently after giving birth but it doesn’t mean she’s working out every day. Instead, Ciara goes to the gym four times a week doing different exercises like cardio, weight lifting, yoga and squats. Then, she’ll have three days off to let her body rest and recover. Ciara does her best to stick to her workout routine despite her hectic schedule, and she’s never been happier with the healthy switch.
The Game-Changing Moment
Ciara discovered how doing her workouts became much easier than before since she doesn’t chase deadlines or rush through the exercises. Instead, Ciara takes her time in exercising carefully. She admits that exercising makes her feel stronger as if she can conquer the world. Not only is her workout routine extremely rewarding for her body and health, but it also helps her mentally.
Her Fitness Routine
Today, Ciara focuses on doing a combination of exercises to achieve her pre-baby shape back. Her dedicated trainer Decker Davis supervises her workout routine that mainly consists of cardio, weightlifting, plyometrics, as well as Tabata. While Ciara had encountered some setbacks when she learned about her diastasis recti, an abdominal condition linked to pregnancy, she revealed it didn’t hinder her from achieving a healthy body.
Together with her trainer, Ciara reveals how she focuses on preventing her stomach muscles from separating even further. While it was tough to fix her condition, she said it was worth all the hard work when her wall muscles get closer. It gave Ciara a sense of accomplishment that she did something amazing for her body.
